A spokesman for the company confirmed on Friday that the company would not announce specific dates for the sale, but indicated that it was not aware of any plans by Pfizer to sell the drug.
The company said it was still awaiting the results of a two-year analysis of its revenue and sales.

The move follows a recent in which the company said it planned to sell its drug in a generic form for $2.15 a tablet.
It was the first time a generic drug has been sold under a brand name.
In April, the drug company said it would begin selling its drug in a generic form for $4.75, as opposed to a brand name.
The news comes just two months after the world’s second-largest drug maker, Merck, released its annual results for the first three months of 2005.
The company said in May the drug will have a price of $7.65 a tablet, which is higher than the previous two sales of $7.3 billion.
Merck said the results showed that it would spend $7.65 billion to manufacture Viagra Connect.
Pfizer’s revenue was $2.8 billion, compared with $2.1 billion in 2005, the company said in a statement.
Pfizer spokeswoman Jennifer Holzberg said the company had not received any reports of an increase in sales related to the company’s efforts to develop its own generic version of Viagra.
“We have been disappointed by the results of this review and are not planning to launch any generic version of Viagra Connect until after the first of the year,” she said in a statement.
The company noted that Pfizer would still be selling the drug in a generic form for the same 30-day price, which would be similar to the $5.45 to $7.65 a tablet, and that the drug would be available in a generic form.
The company had previously been developing the drug for the same price as Pfizer’s impotence pill, Cialis.
Pfizer said it had not planned to sell the drug in a generic form until the results of its analysis were published in June.
